Plucking machines

The wetpluckingmachines from the company "Westerhoff Geflügeltechnik GmbH" are manufactured in our factory completely out of stainless steel.
Waxprocessor

The waxprocessor (WAB) consists of two separate sections:

Dunking tank:
Ducks and geese are dunked in the dunking tank and recieve an even coating of wax. The tank has an electrical power of 6 kW / 400 V. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat, so a constant wax consistency is achieved.

Waxprocessor:
In the processor the used wax is heated up and flows through a sieve into the dunking tank.
The temperature is controlled by a thermostat.

Through close contact to our customers, we were able to consider input and requests in the developement of our machines. The result being very robust pluckingmachines, that are able to resist the permanent stress of large turkeys.

The machines are fabricated out of 1,5 mm thick stainless steel sheets and have a centered outlet for feathers with a 1/2'' thick waterirrigationring incl. flat fan nozzles, waterconnection ( 3/8'' ) with
on-/off switch and CE - plug.

Driven by: 1,1 KW / 400 V / 50 Hz

Final plucker for ducks + geese
The final plucker is constructed to relieve subsequent plucking. After the wetplucking, the remaining feathers are removed in ca. 20 - 30 seconds by 3 pairs of barrels that rotate in opposite directions.

Drypluckingmachine MP 7

File size : 5.3 MB
The drypluckingmachine MP 7 plucks all poultry including wild poultry problemless. The poultry has to be held infront of the opening of the plucking device. The feathers are pulled by suction and plucked by rotating discs. The result is contactless plucking which does not damage the birds skin. (The feathers are transported automaticlly into a linnen sack.) Even untrained people can work easily with this machine.
Depending on the sort of poultry, the plucking time takes from 2 to 6 minutes.

The machine is driven by a 220 V/0, 75 kW electric motor.

The drypluckingmachine MP 11 was developed especially for the duck and geese plucking industry.
Operating mode is comparable to the MP7, but the time span of plucking is shortened by about 30 % because of the larger opening and higher connected load.

Driven by an 1x 1,5 kW and 1x 0,55 kW electric motor, 400 V

Tunnelplucker are integrated in the processing line after the scalding
tank.
The plucking banks are hydraulically adjustable in height and angle to achieve the optimal plucking result. Length and number of the plucking banks depend on the sort of poultry and capacity.
